Tea, Coffee and Bias

Fact #1:
I love and drink gallons of tea.

Fact #2:
I love and avoid coffee.

Apparently I am moderately baised towards coffee rather than tea.

A group at Harvard are out to determine just how much of our prejudices are inherent/ implicit and how much is learnt. Mine just happened to be based on coffee and tea. Check it out here. And I think it'd be a favour to those researchers out there too. Thanks to Vavoom's blog. :)

Which brand?

Luckily, I'm not addicted. Yet. Though by all rules, I should be.

I love coffee too....

But I don't get to drink it too often nowadays.

These americans are dumb.. They expect you to add sugar yourself and I can't be bothered to do that.. :D

Now the gray haired won't let us drink coffee and tea in peace! Inherent bias and implicit bias! Sheesh... Why don't the researchers stick to laboratory mice these day?
But cool link :-)
My result said that I have a pronounced bias towards young people as opposed to oldies. That is somewhat reassuring ;-)

amit ~ ah yes. Filter kappi and cappuccino!

leon ~ lol, lazy alright. One reason my tea/coffee intake goes down all the time - EXCEPT during exams. Then you 'need' the coffee, 'need' a clean room, 'need' to ahev that all important chat with your best freind about the fight you had seven weeks ago...

jive ~ tea rocks. And I think I like lemon and ginger tea with no milk right after the normal indian chai with cinnamon.

wriju ~ I should hope one had that bais unless one is old! Taht's one of the oldest prejudices known to mankind!

This particular brand, I think, are trying very hard to figure out how much of a ethinicity/ sex/ species/ whatever bais we have...and obviously, you are very much baised towards humans rather than mice!

What unfair differentiation!

First of all I'll hope I don't become old, or should I say 'older'! Alas none of that is possible :-(
May be the best I can manage is being young inside. (reminds me of the intel advertisement). So "18 till I die" it is!

But in case I do become an antiquated peevish crabby snotty old man I certainly wouldn't engage in leching (like some dirty old men I know) and do things more becoming :-)

If I were biased towards mice wouldn't it make me catty ;-)

Tea - 4/-
Coffee - 5/-
Earl Grey tea - 500/-
"Nair kadai" chai in the rain - priceless

Seriously, the best tea you can get is the typical roadside joint in Interior Kerala.

s,, perhaps the only good thing about exams is that they allow you to indulge yourself - pampering like whatever you want to eat whenever you want it happens never else.. unless you are a ladli daughter having starved and come from hostel. :D

zydar ~ home made masala chai just cannot be beated, not even by the nair kadai tea...

I see, so you got the better of me. For the record, I have never tasted masala chai!
I plan to, though...
